Pickleball – a combination of tennis, racquetball, ping pong, and badminton – is the fastest growing sport in the country. It may have a funny name, but it’s a serious sport. Pickleball is fast-paced, easy to learn, great exercise, and loads of fun for all ages.

Pickleball is played on a 20’ x 44’ court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. Players use a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a competitive game for experienced players.

We offer designated times for pickleball at our Bear Levin Studer Y and our Pullum Y. We have everything you need to play, although you are welcome to bring your own paddle. New to the game? Pickleball Ambassadors are frequently on hand to introduce you to the sport, explain rules, and welcome you to the game.
