Martial arts - the ancient tradition of combat practiced for self-defense, competition, physical, mental, and spiritual development – finds a home inside our Y, where participants enhance their physical and mental health through the practice.

We offer a year-round martial arts program for youth and adults at both the Bear Levin Studer Y and the Pullum Y.

Martial Arts

Through our martial arts classes, participants of all ages learn discipline and self-confidence while developing and honing skills. Martial arts practice can help participants master their minds and emotions, yielding better mental health, and produce a stronger sense of calm and purpose.
