Dawn Ohmit is a mother, foster parent, community member, and a long-time YMCA member. Originally from Destin, Dawn has been residing in Navarre for 28 years.
Dawn chose the YMCA because the Y has always been there for her and her children. The YMCA has given a place for her children to grow, playing sports and learning sportsmanship in a Christian environment. While her children are staying busy, Dawn doesn’t neglect to take care of herself. Being members at the YMCA allows her to stay healthy and active, while her kids are staying engaged in the KidZone. Dawn and her family are a joy to see around the Betty J Pullum Family YMCA.
She also credits the Pullum swim instructors. Because of them her kids can now swim like fish!
