Or maybe you're just in a rut and need someone to challenge you in new ways. Regardless of your goals, our certified personal trainers are here to motivate you to work harder and reach farther.
Personal training is available for members only. No outside personal trainers are allowed to train inside the Y.
Members may purchase personal training sessions at the Welcome Center.

Joann Cave
Personal TrainerJo Ann Cave has lived in Navarre since 2001. She is at stay-at-home mom of 5, real estate agent, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. Her family has been active in the Y since before the construction of the Pullum Branch. She has served on the Advisory Council. After attending group fitness classes and body challenge sessions, she decided to obtain her certification to help others pursue health and wellness. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
Bernard Williams
Personal TrainerWith 23 years experience, Bernard Williams is certified through NASM as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist, and as a Weight-loss Specialist through ACE. He holds a Black Belt in Uechi Ryu and has studied many other forms of discipline. A former national and world class competitor in track and field, he was a five-time SEC Champion and NCAA All-American. Bernie was an LSU school record holder for 24 years. After retiring from social services, he returned to fitness, his first passion.He has been with the Y for 7 years.

She loved the Y as a member and loves it even more as a trainer.
