Membership & Guest Policies

Membership

Membership at the Y is flexible and available to everyone. We do not require a contract, and it's easy to join; simply complete a membership application, sign a waiver, and set up your payment method.

Membership dues draft on either the 1stor 15thof each month, directly from your checking or savings account, or from your credit card.

You can join at the Regional Rate, which gives you complete membership privileges and access to all of our locations, or at a lower single branch rate to have access to only the Pullum (Navarre) Branch or the Northeast (Langley) Branch.A Regional Membership offers access to all branches in our association, plus all Ys in Florida, Mississippi and Alabama. Branch-only memberships offer access to that branch only.

Each new membership will be charged a $50 Joiner’s Fee. This is a one-time fee as long as membership does not lapse for more than 90 days. There is no Joiner's Fee for a new Young Adult membership.

Membership fees seem a little out of reach? We want everyone to be a part of the Y, which is why we offer Y Assistance to determine a membership rate that works for you.

Member Get A Member Referral Program

How It Works:

1. Invite a friend to join the Y by giving them a Member Get A Member Form with your information completed.

2. Your friend brings in the form when they join.

3. You will receive $20 off your next month's membership and your friend will not have the pay their prorated membership fee. (Joiner's fee still applies)

* Qualifying new members are restricted to Adult, Household and Senior memberships only. Offer will not be retroactively applied and program does not apply towards YAssistance or Corporate Partnership.

Guests & Visitors

Guest Policy

All guests may have a first time, free visit. Members may bring in one guest per day and are responsible for their guests’ behavior. Guests are expected to adhere to the same values and behavior expected of our members and staff. We ask guests to present a picture ID, sign in at the Welcome Center and be accompanied by a member. Members may request a guest pass for a limited time for immediate family members visiting from out of town. We may restrict guest usage based on safety and individual branch circumstances.

Youth

If you would like to bring another member's minor child with you when you visit any of our branches, you can do so by having the minor's parent complete a minor release form.

A teen permission form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian for a teenager to attend the Y as a guest.

Nationwide Membership

We participate in Nationwide Membership, which enables our regional members to visit any participating YMCA in the United States through membership at the YMCA of Northwest Florida. We are committed to helping you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work, or travel.

Things to know before you go:
  • Visit ymca.net before you travel to make sure the Y you intend to visit participates in Nationwide Membership. More than 2,500 Y locations participate.
  • You must have an active membership to be eligible for Nationwide Membership.
  • On average, at least 50% of your visits must be to your Home YMCA (the local association that enrolled you and collects your membership dues).
  • If you have known periods of seasonal travel (when you will not be using your Home Y at least 50% of the time or will be a resident of another area for more than 28 days), you will need to place your Home Y membership on hold or cancel it, and join the Y where you will be living for that time period. Please plan ahead, as it may take several weeks to place your account on hold.
  • If you are a college student, you will need to join the YMCA where your usage is 50% or greater. Nationwide Membership is based on individual usage not the family unit. Most Ys have a young adult or college membership option or you can ask about the financial assistance program.
  • Most YMCAs require a photo ID for all visitors. Please bring a photo ID with you for a seamless customer experience.
  • You will be asked to sign a waiver when visiting other YMCA locations.
Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
