June Program Spotlight

Registration is still open for Summer Camp at both the Vickrey Center and Pullum Y.

Y Summer Day Camp is a hands-on learning program that introduces school-age youth to a wide range of active play and interactive experiences. Your child can expect arts & crafts, sports & physical fitness; hands on projects; and field trips.

Some things to know before you get here :

  • Curbside pickup/drop-off only.Temperatures will be taken prior to any child entering the building. Any child with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be admitted.
  • Vickrey Center ONLY: We will serve a breakfast snack from 6:30-8:30 a.m. in the multipurpose room. Children who wish to have the breakfast snack can go to the multipurpose room immediately after they are dropped off. We will offer lunch. You also may pack your child's lunch, along with an afternoon snack and full water bottle.
  • Every camper will need to bring his or her bathing suit and a towel, along with sunscreen for the pool. Flip flops and open toe shoes may only be worn at the pool.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required for all indoor/outdoor activities and field trips.
  • Each camper will be assigned a family group with a ratio of one (1) Camp Counselor to no more than 15 campers. Family groups will maintain social distancing between other family groups. Staff and children will remain in their assigned family group for the entirety of the Summer Camp.
  • Children are not required to wear masks. However, they can choose to be worn while inside the building. Masks are not recommended during physical activity – particularly outside in the sun and heat.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting the inside of our building will be a top priority before, during and after camp hours each day.
Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
