April Program Spotlight

The Vickrey Center and Betty J. Pullum YMCA have been converted to provide emergency childcare for children of health care workers, first responders and other essential personnel. Once school is back in session, we have plans to work with school district personnel to support virtual school.

"We want to make sure that every nurse, every health care provider and first responder that needs child care assistance will have us there for them — while they take care of our families," said CEO Michael Bodenhausen.

Space is available at both sites for anyone who still needs care.

Cost: $25/day

When: Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm

At both locations, children rotate between activities such as indoor/outdoor recreation, STEAM (Science, Technology, Electronics, Arts and Math) activities, and computer lab/library. Parents can select individual days as needed.
