April - Program Corner

Across multiple Y branches, we are gearing up for a full summer of fun! Did you know that we have camps in both Pensacola and Navarre? With registration now open for both locations, we're giving everyone a peek behind the curtain. First up is a look at what to expect at the Northeast Y at the Vickrey Center, whose registration opens today, and we'll be sharing a look at what's happening at Pullum just after camp kicks off!

Northeast YMCA (Pensacola)

Summer camp season is here!

Registration will be open for everyone ages 5-15 starting April 1. This year, we are planning some amazing activities, hands-on STEAM projects, literacy blocks lead by the YMCA Reads team, fun optional field trips, a teen camp that is focusing on bettering the community, relationships, and themselves. Expect your kids to come home tired and full of fun memories.

This year we are revamping our reward program. Each camper will have a chance to earn points by showing skills based on the character traits of the Y: honesty, respect, caring, responsibility. Points will be redeemed into bracelets, and we are eager to see who can collect them all. Once all of the details are solidified, this will be communicated to parents and campers.

Register online April 1 before spots fill up. Financial assistance is available for anyone who needs it. For questions, please email Cameron.

For more information on summer camps at Pullum, please email Katianna. Again, we'll have an inside look at their camp in an upcoming newsletter, so keep an eye out for that!

With something fun for kids of every age, summer camp fills up fast. The end of the school year will be here before you know it. We hope to see some of you there this year.
