Morgan Perceval

What is your role at the Y?

I work as a Personal Trainer and a Wellness Coach. I am also a Water Aerobics Instructor, and I am just beginning as a Group Fitness Instructor.

What do you enjoy most about being on staff at the Y?

I LOVE helping people, encourage and give them hope!

What do you tell your clients and members at the Y to encourage them on their fitness journey?

The best advice I give my clients and members is that consistency and commitment are key. Fitness is about choices. They determine our destiny.

Have you had any interesting experiences as a result of your work or role at the Y?

What has touched my heart, and does every time, is members and clients have come back to me, with tears sometimes, and told me how their life has changed because of how I helped them.

What is a favorite past time or hobby that you enjoy?

I love gardening, pickleball and cats! I can hardly walk past a garden without being tempted to prune and weed and tidy it up.

What do you really do at the Y?

I want to make it a point to acknowledge people. I make sure people feel valued. I think it’s important to remember and use each person’s name.
