Spring Break Camp & VPK

Warmer temperatures are our signal that spring is upon us, kids will have a break from school, and it’s time to register for Spring Break Camp. Parents, the YMCA is here to provide your children with a week-long Spring Break Camp to keep them engaged in fun sports, arts & crafts, games and other spring themed activities. In addition, our Pullum Branch VPK program is accepting registration for children who are ready to prepare for Kindergarten and beyond.

The Northeast Y Branch and the Pullum Y Branch each have a Spring Break Camp program to meet your family’s needs.

What you need to know:

Dates: March 18-22

Time: Drop Off: 6:30 am; Pick Up: 6 pm

Registration:Open now and limited.Register in person at the branch. Fees for camp and field trips are collected at the time of registration.

** ALL after-school care fees must be paid in full before a child can be registered.

Fees: Household Members - $14/day per; Program Participants - $28/day per child.

What to bring: Children should bring a non-perishable sack lunch that does not need to be heated. The Y will provide an afternoon snack, and drinks will be available to purchase at lunch and in the afternoon.

What to leave at home: Children should leave at home all playing cards, trading cards, portable video games systems and other toys. The Y cannot be responsible for the security of any of these items.

**Children should wear closed-toe shoes.

Fees: $30/day or $100/week per child. Fees for field trips are separate. Check the sign -p form at registration.

What to bring: Children should bring a sack lunch. The Y will provide snacks.

Betty J. Pullum VPK Registration

The VPK Program at the Pullum Y is designed to help children grow in spirit, mind, and body. The goal of the teachers is to create an environment that is warm, loving and fun, blended with structure and suitable educational stimulation. This wonderful program uses developmentally appropriate activities to enhance the children’s cognitive, physical, emotional, social and language development.

VPK is a free program to all children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2019.

The program follows the Santa Rosa County School calendar and meets fromAugust 12, 2019 to May 29, 2020.Hours are Monday- Friday 12:30-3:30 pm. Transportation is not provided. The Y provides snacks. Parents are welcome to pack a lunch for their child.

Fees: Members - $60/week per child; Program Participants - $80/week per child.

After-school care is provided for a charge of $20/week per child.

Registration requirements:

  • Current ELC Certificate
  • Current physical record
  • Current immunization record
