  • What routines do you have to improve your daily wellness?I work out and utilize a personal trainer. I stay on my diet. I listen to music, and I read a verse a day.

  • Can you tell a difference when you are on track vs not on track?Yes, I can. If I eat a lot of junk food, if I sleep late, things like that effect my energy and my attitude.

  • How does staying on top of your health and wellness improve your personal and work life?It keeps me more productive. When I’m on top of that stuff, it motivates me to continue to be productive, and want to make more productive choices.
  • What would you say to someone who is new at our Y, and is looking to kickstart a healthy lifestyle?I feel like people overthink things, and if you just go to the gym, you are already doing a lot for yourself. Once you get your foot in the door, take it step by step. Don’t freak out too much about the diet, because there is a lot of information, and over time you’ll start to know what works for you. If you focus on it becoming a lifestyle, then you’re more likely going to stick to it.
