January Health Focus

“A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”

– Chinese Proverb

Happy New Year! Cheers to new beginnings, but where to begin? Getting started doesn’t have to be a daunting task. When making resolutions, don’t choose ones that may be difficult to keep. Don’t only create goals that can improve your health and well-being, but create ones that can be followed for more than just a season.

For some assistance, we asked some of the Bear Levin Studer staff for their ideas, and here is what they had to say:

Morgan H – Drink more water! Don’t forget to stay hydrated!

Delaney – Don’t get too comfortable.

Cody – Eat healthy and don’t stress too much.

Ayonna – Keep it 80/20 – 80% Discipline 20% Fun

Trixy – Don’t forget why you started/ are starting.

Jason – Make sure to get enough quality sleep!

Kristen – Remain consistent.

Melanie – Don’t take yourself too seriously.

Larry – It’s more important what you eat, than what you don’t eat.

Ryan – Start with small goals and stay consistent.

Flo – Balance is everything.

Andrea – Doing a little bit of something is better than doing nothing. Just start!

Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
