December - Mission Moment

Our members and staff have the opportunity this holiday season to Be a Santa to a Senior.

The Bear Levin Studer Y is a gift tree location for this year’s collection, which is organized by Home Instead, a provider of senior in-home care services that make life easier for seniors and their families.

Through Be a Santa to a Senior, members and staff can purchase a wish list gift or a gift card. To be a Santa:

• Select an ornament from the tree.
• Purchase the gift.
• Return it to the collection box with the ornament taped to the gift.
• If you choose to buy a gift card, please return the gift card to staff at the Welcome Center.

Home Instead will distribute the gifts to the Northwest Florida Agency on Aging, the Council on Aging, and Rosewood Manor long-term care facility.

It’s been a tough couple of years for all of us. Be a Santa to a Senior is a simple way to reach out to someone who might be alone or lonely and share some Christmas cheer.

Please drop off gifts by Dec. 19 to ensure on-time delivery for Christmas.
