Since 2007, we have partnered with Navarre High School and have served as their “home” aquatics facility. This partnership is a great collaboration within the Navarre community. We have recently updated information about the swim team to share.
High school sports begin Sept. 7, and the NHS Swim Team will begin swimming at the Betty J. Pullum YMCA on this date. We’re implementing some changes related to the swim team for the safety of our members and community.
- The swim team will enter and exit through the front gate entrance which leads directly onto the pool deck. All Navarre High School screening protocols will be in place, and the coaches will administer these procedures.
- Our schedule will reflect exclusive use of the pool for the swim team during their practice time.
- Last year, the NHS Swim Team swam in the morning and the evening. This year they will only swim in the morning.
- We have an updated schedule that begins Sept. 7. It can be foundhere. Please review and plan accordingly.
- The Betty J. Pullum YMCA pool is scheduled to close on Friday, Oct. 2. We will be making improvements on the pool deck and will begin preparing that space for the work immediately after closing.
